This activity simulates the morning run of the Shelby BNSF Hi-Line Sub Track Inspector in the Fairmont MT-19 from 3DTrains.com. The activity takes you in your motorcar from Shelby Yard to Blackfoot and is designed for the revised Marias Pass 3.0 route. All other equipment is MSTS default. The two-hour activity requires close adherence to dispatcher instructions and track warrants to keep the westbound and eastbound freight train fleets rolling. You have a narrow window to cross the single-track bridge over Cutbank Creek. If you are early or late, you will cause the dispatcher some unnecessary problems in dealing with the busy mainline freight traffic. (To check the time and coordinate with your warrants, press F10.) When you arrive in Blackfoot, the dispatcher will give you permission to pass the stop signal to take your motorcar off the track at the grade crossing. There is no Activity Complete message, so feel free to keep on going if you want.
